Amaya, dubbed as an epicserye, is said to change the landscape of Philippine television in 2011. Also the first historical soap opera, Amaya topbills GMA's Primetime Queen Marian Rivera. It's a story about Bai Amaya, Bai meaning Princess in Islam. The story dates back to the 1500s.
